We recognize that cemeteries are often vast and expansive, making it challenging for the maintenance staff to provide the level of meticulous care that your loved one's final resting place deserves.
At Milwaukee Grave Care, we offer specialized maintenance services for your family member or loved one's gravesite, or even a multi-grave family plot. Our team is dedicated to providing the thorough attention and care that every gravesite deserves.
Plot Maintenance
Our plot maintenance service includes meticulous hand-trimming of grass around the marker, followed by a fresh mowing (if necessary) to ensure a neat and tidy appearance. Our team also takes care of removing any windblown debris and litter, raking leaves, and pulling weeds from around the marker and within the grave area. We make sure to remove broken ornamentals and damaged flower arrangements while watering the entire site as needed. Additionally, we lightly sweep away debris from the headstone, coping, and slab while removing any dried grass clippings thrown by mowing equipment. We are committed to ensuring that your loved one's final resting place remains well-maintained and tidy, so we also remove any collected materials such as weeds, twigs, leaves, or spent flowers from the site. To keep you informed, we always provide digital before and after photos of our work.
Tombstone Cleaning
We are committed to using only environmentally friendly methods to clean and restore your loved one's monument or headstone. Our gentle and effective approach involves using a chemical-free soap solution and water, or an Eco-Friendly Biological Solution that is specially formulated to remove environmental pollutants, dirt, and stains from mold, mildew, lichen, algae, and oxidation that can accumulate over time. We understand the importance of preserving the integrity of your loved one's monument, which is why we promise to only use soft fiber bristled brushes to ensure it is restored to its original condition. We will never use a pressure washer or harsh chemicals that could potentially damage the monument or headstone. Our commitment to quality is reflected in our before-and-after photos, which we always provide to our clients.
Flower Delivery
We understand that it's important to commemorate special occasions and honor your loved one with meaningful decorations at their resting place. As such, we welcome fresh-cut or artificial floral arrangements, ribbon-tied bouquets, potted plants, flags or balloons (as allowed) to be placed at the gravesite. This is a wonderful way to remember your loved one and to show them that they are still cherished and thought of on special occasions such as Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries, and more.
Message Delivery
At Milwaukee Grave Care, we understand that sometimes life can get in the way of being able to visit your loved one's gravesite as often as you would like. That's why we offer gravesite message delivery services to ensure that your special message or item is delivered on a special day, such as a birthday or anniversary, or just to let your loved one know they are remembered.
Our team will hand-deliver your message or item to your loved one's gravesite with care and respect. Whether it's a heartfelt letter, a recorded message, or a special memento, we will ensure that it is placed at the gravesite and positioned in a thoughtful manner.
We know how important it is to honor and remember your loved ones, and we take pride in being able to provide this service to our clients. We will always provide you with digital confirmation photos of the delivery, giving you peace of mind and assurance that your loved one has been remembered in a meaningful way.
Seasonal Care
Our Seasonal Care plan is designed to provide your loved one’s final resting place with the care and attention it deserves. With this package, we offer three visits a year for plot maintenance, ensuring the site is always neat and tidy.
Our team will hand-trim the grass around the marker, remove debris and litter, pull weeds, and remove broken ornamentals and damaged flower arrangements. Additionally, we will water the site as needed, and provide before and after photos of the site.
In addition to plot maintenance, this package also includes one gravestone cleaning per year. Using an Eco-Friendly Biological Solution, we will carefully remove environmental pollutants, dirt, and stains from mold, mildew, lichen, algae, and oxidation that build up over time, restoring your loved one's monument or headstone to its original condition.
With Seasonal Care, you can rest assured that your loved one's final resting place will be beautifully maintained in Spring, Summer and Fall.
Continual Care
Our Continual Care Service option is designed for those who want to ensure their loved one's final resting place receives regular, ongoing attention and care. With this plan, we provide a minimum of 12 visits per year for your loved one's plot maintenance. This includes regular hand-trimming of grass around the marker, fresh mowing of the grave, debris removal, weed pulling, and watering of the entire site when needed. Additionally, as part of this plan, we offer one gravestone cleaning per year, utilizing a chemical-free soap solution or an Eco-Friendly Biological Solution that is gentle on the stone but effectively removes dirt, stains, and environmental pollutants. We use only soft fiber bristled brushes, and never resort to pressure washing or harsh chemicals that can damage the stone. We understand that every visit to the cemetery can be emotional and that you want your loved one's resting place to be in the best possible condition. With our Continual Care Service, you can rest assured that we will take care of all the maintenance tasks, allowing you to focus on honoring the memory of your loved one.
